He was predeceased by: his father Nicho Perez. He is survived by: his mother Josephina Garcia Gonzales; his children, Cynthia Perez, Wendy Contreras, Ray Rene Perez, Jr., Omar Perez and Nico Ivan Contreras; and his siblings, Eloisa Contreras, Margaret Corona, Gary Gonzales and Raul Garza. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and numerous half sisters and brothers.
