She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Houze and Beulah Houze; her significant other Jim Falks; and her grandchildren, Ashley Amber and Jarrett Blaine.

She is survived by: her children, Jim Ed (Deborah), Joe Mark (Ann), Carol Ann (Jim) and John Kevin (Linda); and her sisters, Helen and Marguerite. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Kenedy, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Exclusive Home & Hospice, Inc. of Beeville, TX.
