It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Ray Barnes (Kenedy, Texas), born in Rio Grande City, Texas, who passed away on June 23, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepfather Henry J. Schultz; and his siblings, James Thomas Barnes Sr., Eddie Barnes Sr., Lloyd Barnes, Rodney Gill and Katherine Schultz.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Kay Broadway (Clayton) of Seguin, Christine Fay Sponable of New Braunfels and Larry Ray Barnes Jr. of Seguin; and his siblings, Cheryl Lynn Schultz of Kenedy, Lisa Marie Fisher (John) of San Antonio, Charles Alynn Shultz of Berclaire, TX and Johnny Schultz (Saundra) of Kenedy. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
