He is survived by: his wife Hilaria Villarreal Cano of Kenedy; his children, Peggy Duenes of San Antonio, Yvette Perales (Robert) of Hobson, Miranda Cano of Kenedy and Joe Cano III (Brenda) of Kenedy; and his siblings, Nancy Mooney (Gerald) of Corpus Christi, Dora Saenz (Rudy) of Kenedy, Elma Cortez of Kenedy and Roy Cano (Lula) of Kenedy. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
