He was predeceased by: his parents, Juaquina Estrada Salas and Emilio Estrada; and his brothers, Emilio Salas, Jr., Joe Salas and George Salas.
He is survived by: his children, Niki Mendez of San Antonio and Frank Salas, Jr. of San Antonio; and his siblings, Bonnie Lopez of La Porte, Maria Salas of Port Lavaca, Olga Salas of Kenedy, Janie Mendez of Kenedy, Ruben Salas of Victoria, Gilbert Salas of Runge and David Salas of Kenedy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Eckols Funeral Chapel (420 W Live Oak St, Kenedy, TX 78119). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (605 Karnes St, Kenedy, TX 78119).
