He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elvira Taylor, Rita Venecia and Luis Vera; and his grandson Fidencio Martin Vera. He is survived by: his sons, Rick Vera of Kenedy, TX, Martin Vera (Christi) of Kenedy, TX and Frank Vera (Viviana) of Karnes City, TX; his grandson Frank Vera Jr. of Karnes City, TX; his brother Rafael Vera of Alice, TX; and his sons, A. B. Castaneda, Hector Mendoza and Joey Salais.
