We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2023, at the age of 80, Edward Carl Monson (Kenedy, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilmer Monson and Elsie Eklund Monson; his siblings, Lawrence, Mauritz Monson and Dorothy Monson Hahler; his stepson Clint Maddox; his nephew Ted Hahler; his niece Katherine Hahler Duclos; and his great-nieces, Emily and Shalene Monson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Monson; his stepson Jason Maddox (Jana); his stepdaughter-in-law Stacie Maddox; his grandchildren, Ashley Maddox Waller (Matt), Logan Childs Maddox, Noah Maddox, Ella Maddox, Hunter Maddox and Peyton Maddox; his great grandchild Willow Waller; his sister-in-law Diana Monson; his nieces, Patricia Hahler, Marie Hahler and Donna Monson Diaz; and his nephew Philip Monson.
Memorial donations can be made to the Elim Cemetery Maintenance Fund and the Kenedy Education Foundation.
