He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Nutt and Maurine Hagendorf Nutt-Gaskins; his stepfather Archie Gaskins; and his sisters, Dianna Copeland and Lorie Schulte.
He is survived by: his sons, Travis L. Nutt of Harwood, TX and Talon Ray Nutt of Clear Lake, TX; and his sister Cheryl Smith (Marvin) of Tuleta, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
