It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Diaz Sr. of Kenedy, Texas, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Diaz and Gregoria Diaz; his siblings, Aurora Diaz, Thomas Diaz, Jr. and Albert Diaz; and his grandson Davian Frank Diaz.
He is survived by: his former wife Sonia Zapata of Karnes City, TX; his children, Lillie Diaz of Runge and David Diaz, Jr. (Marti) of Runge, TX; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Diaz, Javeah Diaz, Joseph Cruz, Jr., Devany Diaz and David Diaz, III; and his nephew Tommy Diaz, III. He is also survived by 2 great nieces and 1 great-nephew.
