He was predeceased by: his parents, Benito Hernandez and Adela Elizondo Hernandez; and his brother Benito Hernandez, Jr. (Fred). He is survived by: his sister Gloria Puente of Kenedy; his nephews, Rick Puente of Canyon Lake, Phillip Hernandez of Victoria and Ben Sylvestre Hernandez of Victoria; and his niece Jansje Hernandez of Victoria. He is also survived by family members and friends.
