He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Cortez, Sr. and Estella Salinas Cortez; and his siblings, Maria Louisa Cortez, Maria Alicia Cortez, Eduviles "Vic" Cortez and Oscar Cortez.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Cortez; his children, Alfredo Cortez, Jr. (Mariel), Alice Dennis (Michael) and Amanda Martin (Joshua); his grandchildren, Tyler Dennis, Amber Martin, Ashley Martin, Taylor Cortez and Bella Cortez; and his siblings, Carlos Cortez, Jr. (Maria Elena) and Gloria Cortez.
