She was predeceased by: her parents, Saturnino, Sr. Rodriguez and Adelina Salais Rodriguez; her husband Donald William Kern; her son Daniel Kern; and her brothers, Reynaldo Rodriguez, Ernie Rodriguez and Raul S. Rodriguez, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Hernandez (Jesus) of Kenedy, Christi Vera (Martin) of Kenedy, Jo Ann Kern of Kenedy, Joyce Martinez of Kenedy and Reynaldo Kern of Kenedy; her siblings, Yolanda, Maria, Josie, Frances, Connie, Geneva, Betty, Reymundo and Saturnino, Jr.; and her close friend Pacifico Martinez. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 5 greatgrandchildren.
