He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Villanueva and Galdina Perales Villanueva; his wife Juanita Servantes Villanueva; his son Johnny Villanueva; and his siblings, Candelario, Vicente, Ausencio "Chencho", Roberto, Dionicio, Francisco Villanueva, Virginia Rios, Julia Silva and Tila Perales.
He is survived by: his children, Rose Mary Villanueva of Karnes City, TX, Norma Mendoza (late Jessie) of Karnes City, TX and Gilbert; and his siblings, Angelita Hamm (Jerry) of Norman, OK, Maria Elena Cortez (Carlos) of Kenedy, TX, Jesus Villanueva of Kenedy, TX and Servando Villanueva of Garden City, KS. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one on the way and 14 great grandchildren.
