Vera Mae Sherman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Mae Sherman of Kemp, Texas, who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edward Moore and Iris Rachel Rials Moore; her children, Lori Vest, Barry Sherman and Larry Michael Sherman; and her siblings, Mildred Tate, Carol Cathey, Johnny Ray Moore and T. E. Moore.
She is survived by: her significant other Bill Sherman; her children, Jimmy Dale Sherman (Annette), Patricia Faye Sherman and Ross Sterling Christie (Tammy); and her siblings, Jerry Wayne Moore, Roger Dale Moore and Mary Busby. She is also survived by 72 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home (601 E Walnut St, Mabank, TX 75147). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Styx New Life Church (31800 W Cedar Creek Pkwy, Kemp, TX 75143).
