Patsy Ruth Mercer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Patsy Ruth Mercer of Kemp, Texas, born in Terrell, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Calvin and Dora Lee Metcalf; her former spouse Hurbert Harris Mercer, Jr.; her son David Vernon Mercer; her daughter-in-law Jeane Kay Mercer; her son Phillip Richard Mercer; and her siblings, Barbara Meek, Nita Lewis, Nannie Metcalf and Robert Metcalf.

She is survived by: her husband Hubert Harris Mercer; her brothers, John Wayne Metcalf and Herbert Metcalf; her sons, Ronnie Mercer (Debbie) and Donnie Mercer (Janese); and her daughter-in-law Marty Mercer. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews and other beloved family and friends.
