She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Frank Watson and Clarice Edna Elmore Watson; her husband Cleatus Ray Middleton; her daughter Karen Dolores Benton; and her brother Dois Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Mathews, Gloria Ruthart Brewer of Kemp, Texas and Deborah Harley of Mabank, Texas; her grandchildren, Gary Benton of Ft. Worth, Waylon Ruthart (Chelsea Ruthart), William Ruthart (Adawna Ruthart) and Teri Mauldin (Denver Mauldin); her sister Lena Mae McFarland of Grand Prairie, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Chaz Ruthart, Taylor Radamacher, Alexis Ruthart, Wyatt Ruthart, Kara Benton, Carson Benton, Emily Mauldin, Kason Fuqua and Hadley Ball.
