It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Nelson Kersey of Kemp, Texas, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dal Kersey and Joann Kersey; his wife Kim Kersey; his daughters, Katrina Maggard (John Pittman, Jr.) and Rebecca Alexander Lopez; his grandchildren, Shayla Maggard, Troy Lopez, Keira Maggard and Isaiah Lopez; and his sister Vicki Powell (Brent). He was also cherished by numerous extended family and friends.
