It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Hood of Kemp, Texas, born in Pittsburg, Texas, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren "Shorty" and Gladys Landers Hood. He is survived by: his children, Denise Haney (Bobby Franklin), Gina (Gary Herrera) and Brandon Hood of Mabank; his grandchildren, Michael (Barbie Haney) of Abilene, Shelton Haney of Kemp, Chad Haney of Kemp, Ryder Haney of Kemp, Skylar Binder of Vancouver, Washington, Blake Binder of Vancouver, Washington and Logan (Chris Morrow) of Vancouver, Washington; his great grandchildren, Leia, Grace Haney of Abilene, Bexton and Cohen Morrow of Vancouver, Washington.; and his siblings, David (Reba Hood) of Houston and Martha Lively of Hurst.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Eaves Tabernacle Baptist Church in Leesburg.
