He is survived by : his wife Sandra Shaffer of Kemah; his son Dr. Rodney Shaffer (Kathy) of Tulsa, OK; his brother-in-law Wiltz Ledbetter; his grandchildren, Madison and Aiden Shaffer; his nieces, Melanie Ledbetter Remy (Gary) of Sugarland and Melinda Ledbetter McAfee (David) of Austin; his great-nephews, Chase, Alex, Grant Remy and Cameron; and his great-niece Kayla McAfee.
