It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenice Joice Hernandez of Kemah, Texas, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Battles and May Blakney; and her sons, James and Glenn Maddux. She is survived by: her sons, Ray Maddux, Johnny Burkhalter and Robert Burkhalter; and her grandson Carrington Burkhalter. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
