He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leroy Stephens and Susie Iona Rumberger Stephens; his wife Shirley Ann Knobloch Stephens; his daughter Kimberly Sue Stephens; and his siblings, John L. Stephens, Gerald C. Stephens, Ronald E. Stephens, Arlene R. Cook and Mildred Sampsell.
He is survived by: his daughter Kerry Alison Sellen; his brother Lloyd F. Stephens; his grandchildren, Dan, Jennifer Shrout, Daniel and Ariadna Sellen; and his great grandchildren, Aili Ariadne San Agustin, Daxton Ellis Shrout and Liam Auburn Sellen.
