He is survived by: his wife Janis Ballard; his children, Norman Ballard (Peggy) and Stacy Wilkie (Kelly); his grandchildren, Hannah Ballard, Reagan Wilkie (Kyndal), Reid Ballard and Riley Skolaut (Reschen); his great grandchild Finnley Wilkie; his sisters, Charlexa Smith and Margaret Sue Tally; and his aunt Mary Ruth Ballard Price.
