He was predeceased by: his parents, Whit Reid and Ruby Reid. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Reid; his children, Greg Reid (Rachel) and Michelle Wylie (Randall); his grandchildren, Chris Sims, Nick Sims (Carolynn), Ashley Soukup (Price), Hillary Wylie, Sara Reid, Jenna Reid and Nathan Reid; his great grandchildren, Niko Sims and Crosby Soukup; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Reid, Lawerence Weddle, Janette Bentley and Georgetta Weddle.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home - Keller (1601 S Main St, Keller, TX 76248). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park (5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034).
