He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Gladys Hopson, Hazel Lester, Maxine Premo, Edith Curry, McKinley Hopson (Mack), Earl Hopson, John Hopson (Jay) and Harold Hopson; his children, Rhonda Lynn and Tracy Earnest; his stepson Jeff; his brother Merrell Roger Hopson of Keller, TX; and also, Trish Ruble and Several. He was also cherished by Several nieces, nephews and grand nephews.
