She was predeceased by: her parents, J. M. Headrick and Ruby Headrick; her husband Don; and her brother Woody Headrick. She is survived by: her sons, Johnny and Michael of Burleson; her sister Barbara Hammond (David) of Ozark; her sister-in-law Nancy Shipp of Duncanville, Texas.; her grandchildren, Brandon, Lacy, Dustin and Wendy; her great grandchildren, Logan, Emma, Spirit, Tyler, Lacy, Xaiden, Zoe, Jaylen of Gage, J. J., Denise and Erin; her nieces and nephews, Dava, Jason, Lori, James, Stephen and Randall; and her close friends, Wanda and Sylvia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starbuck Funeral Home Chapel (1022 N 2nd St, Merkel, TX 79536). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Jody's memory to The Salvation Army or the charity of your choice.
