He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Salvador Valdez and Concha Morfin; his wife Herminia Valdez; and his sister Aurora Huffman. He is survived by: his children, Yvette Smith (Bill), Terry McKee (James), Janice Hardin Ferrito (Peter), Jeremy Valdez (Erin) and Kristal Linney (Tom); his grandchildren, Will, James, Grant, Morgan, Davis, Dillon, Meredith, Austin and Liam; and his brother Gilberto Valdez. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
