He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Monroe and Lizzie Clyde Brown; his wife Sarah Liles; his daughter Cynthia Brown; and his siblings, Wayne Brown and Kanetha Brown Haney.
He is survived by: his son David Joe Brown; his daughter-in-law LaCata "Katy" Brown; his grandchildren, Raymond Dale Brown, ChisSica Michelle, Veda Ann, Joseph and Steven Husmann; and his stepchildren, Kim and Nathan.
