He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Hedrick and Mattie Hermoline Hedrick (LaRue). He is survived by: his daughters, Kaley Hedrick and Kasey Hedrick; his grandchildren, Joe Hedrick and Ally Floyd; his brother Jerry Hedrick (Patsy); and the mother of his children Kim Baker. He is also survived by several extended family members and many friends.
He also served his community as Mayor of Crandall, worked at the Danielle Smalley Foundation and worked many years at the State Fair of Texas.
