It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Scott Roland (Kaufman, Texas), born in Forney, Texas, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Brooksy Roland and Betty Nichols Roland; and his sister Risa Roland Adam. He is survived by: his wife Karen McFarlin Roland; his son Russell Roland (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Rance and Rhett; his son Rodney Roland (Julie); his grandson Dylan Ray; his brothers, Rick Roland (Kathy) of Forney and Robby Roland of Forney; his brother-in-law Mike Adam; and his uncle Edward Nichols (Ann) of Paris Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to The First Baptist Church Forney Forum in memory of Rusty Roland.
