He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert George Mitchell and Patricia Mitchell (McRae). He is survived by: his children, Rebecca, Rachael and Robert Mitchell; and his sister Colleen Merren. He is also survived by grandchildren, along with his nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
