She was predeceased by: her father Robert J. Nelson; her husband Donald Contreras; and her son Stephen Callahan. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence "Skeeter" Callahan, Rane Lee Callahan of Sanger, Texas, Fernando Contreras, Vanessa Contreras and Adriana Medrano; her granddaughter Jennifer Callahan of Kaufman; and her brothers, Carey J. Nelson and Ronnie Nelson. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
