He is survived by: his wife Edna Burns of Kaufman, TX; his son Johnie Burns Jr.; his grandson Johnie Burns III of Kaufman, TX; and his siblings, Kenneth Burns (Betty Ruth) of Ferris, TX and Sue Burns of Ft. Worth. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and his many friends.
