He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dean and Katie Ruth Dean; his son Justin Cody Dean; his sister Tancy Dean Platt; and his siblings-in-law, William Platt, Jerry Hunt, George Williams, Merle Williams, Beryl Williams Rand and Roy Rand.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his sister Mary Kay Dean Hunt; and his nieces and nephews, Gregory Wade Hunt (Sandy), Mike Williams, Brian Williams (Robin), Roy Don Rand (Sharon), Kim Platt, Kristi Platt Villarreal, Kendall Hunt, Rhonda Williams Dykes (Jeff) and Linda Wood.
