He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Thompson and Hortense Thompson; his wife Betty Nell Thompson Neighbors; his stepmother Pauline Thompson; his brother Henry E. Thompson; his sons, Gary L. Thompson (Kaye) of Katy, TX, Mel A. Thompson (Mary Lou) of Kaufman, TX and Matthew W. Thompson (Dawn) of Garland, TX; and his grandson Caleb Thompson (Shelby). He was also cherished by 7 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
