She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Jackson and Anna Jackson; her husband Dr. Hans Peterson; her daughter Dr. Jane Leach; her granddaughter Brooke Dargel; her great grandchild Emma Davidson; and her siblings, Sonny Jackson and Shirley Moe.

She is survived by: her children, David Peterson (Carolyn), Darwin Peterson (Kathy), Kevin Peterson (Deena), Julie Leach (Michael), Karen Briles (David), Sandra Dargel (David) and Stan Peterson (Teresa); her brother Gerald Jackson (Marianne); and her sisters-in-law, Lila Creager (Tom), Marlys Peterson and Eunice Peterson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
