She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Coombs; her brothers, Leroy Bell, Pinson Bell, Park Bell and James Bell; and her daughter Gerry (Chuck Messer).

She is survived by: her son Dennis (Mary Coombs); and her grandchildren, Mark Messer (Sherry), Dawna Comeaux (Craig), Marletta (Jimmy Smith), Stephanie (Tim Taylor), Christine (Chris Love) and Rebecca (Paul Hatfield). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
