He was predeceased by: his parents, Lidia Laverne Fagan Jones and Claude Berryhill. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Diane Berryhill; his son James Dean Berryhill Sr.; his daughter-in-law Cari Ann Berryhill; his daughter Karen Kay Berryhill Safford; his son-in-law Mark Safford; his grandchildren, Farrahmacie Cody, Cailey Suarez, Alexis Crofton, Abby Bahlman, Victoria Safford and James Dean Berryhill Jr.; his great grandchild Kayson Dean Gaddis; and his sisters, Anna Marie Jones Fitzgerald and Brenda Lou Jones Moleway.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker - Ashworth Funeral Home (2217 S Washington St, Kaufman, TX 75142). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
