She was predeceased by: her husband Luther L. Echols; her sons, Michael Anthony Echols, Jerry Don Finley and Herbert James Nix; her grandson Charles Alexander Wagner; and her siblings, Eli Greer, Jr., Richard Earl Greer and Margie Lee Britt.

She is survived by: her sister Ella L. Pierce of Kaufman, TX; and her children, Gwendolyn Thompson (Herbert) of DeSoto, TX, Alfred Eugene Echols (Pam) of Dallas and Raymond Leroy Echols (Margie) of Waxahachie, TX. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
