He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Ethel Reitan (Backstrom) and Edwin Howard Reitan, Sr.; and his brother Edwin Howard Reitan, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Reitan; his children, William Christopher Reitan and Dawn Reitan-Brockman; his son-in-law Scott Brockman; his grandchildren, Ainsley and Finn; and his sister-in-law Margret Reitan.
