He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hicks and Mary Effie Hicks; and his siblings, Laurice, Reba, Paul and Talmadge (Tommie).
He is survived by: his children, William Charles Hicks Jr. and Sherry Ann Hicks Strunk (Thomas Eugene Strunk); his grandsons, Robert Alan Strunk (Cassandra Garza Strunk) and Jacob Thomas Strunk (Adrianna Trevino Strunk); and his great grandchildren, Maddison Strunk and Gerrit Strunk. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In addition to flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Missions or for Benevolence funds at Spring Woods Baptist Church or Kingsland Baptist Church.
