He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George "Bernie" and Cecilia Dorenkamp; his wife Claire R. Dorenkamp (McIsaac); his siblings, George, Bob Dorenkamp and Cissie Dorenkamp; his sister-in-law Joyce Dorenkamp; his children, Theodore "Ted" Dorenkamp, Donna DePasquale (Jim), Carol Hance, Rick Dorenkamp (Vicki Owen) and Sandy Cernota (Tom); his brothers, Dan Dorenkamp (Cathy) and Gene Dorenkamp; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Dorenkamp and Peggy Dorenkamp.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in honor of Theodore "Ted" Dorenkamp to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Jerome Catholic Church.
