He was predeceased by: his daughter Barbara Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Keodokmai Dawson; his children, Robert Dawson Jr. and Vatsana Lim; his children-in-law, Nick Lim and Melissa Dawson (Zcdaedel Rajvongthong); and his grandchildren, Ty Kamya, Riley Dawson, Benjamin Lim and Emma Lim.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Garden Oaks Funeral Home (13430 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77083). A procession was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forest Park (2454 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston, TX 77077).
