With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Lee Abshier of Katy, Texas, born in Morse, Louisiana, who passed away on February 3, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Breaux and Vina Benoit Breaux; her husband Troy Abshier; her sister Shirlene Humphries (James); and her brother-in-law James Harrington.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Villarreal (John) of Katy, Lisa Arnold of Gardnerville, David Abshier (Tammy) of Corrigan and Brian Abshier (Kathleen) of Hankamer; and her siblings, Mason Breaux (Myrna) of Winnie and Mazie Harrington of Winnie. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
