He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey Ward and Sophia Theodora Vranesh Ward. He is survived by: his wife Judy Ward; his children, Michael Ward (Tanya) of Katy, Texas and Sharon Tamplain (Blaine) of Katy, Texas; his grandchildren, Grace Ward of Katy, Texas., Jack Ward of Katy, Texas. and Emma Tamplain of Katy, Texas.; and his sister Ginny Turner (Jim) of Crockett. He is also survived by several nephews and one niece.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
