He was predeceased by: his sisters, Helen and Jane Elizabeth Schmidt. He is survived by: his brother Edward Deforest Partch; his former wife Carolyn Cox; his daughters, Alyson Ruth, Carolyn Anne and Celia Jane; his wife Opal Ruth Lively Ryan of Mexia; his grandchildren, Justin Smith (Michelle), Carolyn Smith of Austin and Thomas of Dallas; his stepdaughters, Jonelle Ryan Bartoli, Pam Ryan, Melinda Ryan Pagan and Debbie Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Mary Quinn and James Davis.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Katy Funeral Home (23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:30 PM.
