It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex Alan Walters of Katy, Texas, born in Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Walters and Bettie Walters; his sister Susan Henley; his cousin Scott Walters (Beth); and his brother Mike Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughter Courtney; his aunt Ruth Radcliffe; his uncle Ralph (Carol Walters); his brothers, Vernon (Sandy), Jeff (Cheryl), Kenny and Pat; his nieces and nephews, Quinn Sherrill, Evelyn Shields (Joe), Angie Binder, Christy Sabherwal (Nick), Chris Walters, Josh Walters (Kara), Alan Walters (Catlin), Jeffrey Walters, Jesse Walters and Justin Walters; his sister-in-law Zoe Sherrill (David); and his close friends, Rod, Sally Mason, Mike Fisher, Mike Roberts, Leroy Stapleton and Bob Allen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cotner Funeral Home (7369 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068).
