With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Zavala of Katy, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2024 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sotero Zavala, Guadalupe Zavala and Luis Zavala; and his siblings, Yvonne Zavala and Jason Zavala.
He is survived by: his parents, Julio Zavala and Maria Zavala; his wife Michelle Richard; his children, Michael James Zavala, Mark Anthony Zavala and Madison Cheyenne Ramirez; his grandson Anthony Charles Sandrea; his siblings, Julio Zavala Jr., Elaine Watkins, Rudy Zavala, Jeremy Zavala, David Zavala, Laura Zavala, Rita Zavala Orta, Omar Zavala, Jacob Zavala, Lydia Wells and Theresa Zavala; and his grandmother Gloria Zavala. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Knesek and Sons Funeral Home - Wallis (122 N 1st St, Wallis, TX 77485). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Hartsville Cemetery.
