He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Davis and Alberta Davis; and his siblings, Bobby Davis, Melvin Davis and Barbara Davis Mouton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Davis of Lafayette, Louisiana; his children, Kimberly Ann Davis of Katy, Ashley Lyn Davis of Stillwater, OK and Lynwood Davis Jr. of Katy, TX; his granddaughters, Makayla Ty and Makenzie Beaux Davis; his sister Shelia Davis of Lafayette, LA; and his siblings-in-law, Rachel Washington of Lafayette, LA and Wilson Mouton Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
