With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn McCarren of Katy, Texas, born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 6, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wheeling and Hattie Heffernan Wheeling; her husband Leo McCarren; and her siblings, Florence Greenlee, Walter and Gordon Wheeling.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard L., Michele McCarren of Katy, TX, David H. and Shawn McCarren of Landenberg, PA; her grandchildren, CJ McCarren, Patrick McCarren (Parish), Meghan McCarren Manuel (Colby), Coleen McCarren (TJ) and Gillian McCarren; her niece Marie Leyda; and also, Noah McCarren, Connor and Addison Manuel.
