He is survived by: his parents, Jose Alfredo Huerta Jr. and Gloria Martinez Huerta; his son Jose Alfredo Huerta, IV; his sisters, Cristina Lynnette Zamarripa (Robert Zamarripa) and Elizabeth Huerta Marquez; his close friend Gladys Rubin; and his half-siblings, Abel Huerta (Clara Huerta) and Lorena Hernandez (Juan Carlos Hernandez).
